Beth Ditto @ Evans

I was really excited about the new range comming out, but seeing it all I can say is "Oh dear". How is hard it is to make garments that flatter our curves? I am really dissapointed with this range, I wouldn't buy them even if they were on the sale rack.

Take a look at the Black and Red Printed Dress. I have seen this dress on, it is to short and it gives no shape to the body what so ever. I would have liked to seen this a little longer, a different patern and a wide belt to chinch in the waist. I really don't see these garments flying of the racks. Really this only in my oppinion, you gorgeous girls may love the new line. Perhaps they would of looked better in a differnt pattern or fabric?

However if I had to choose two items from the range it would be the Floral Print Denim Skirt and the Heart Lurex Short Cardigan. The cardi can be worn with everything and the hearts are then in thing right now. As for the skirt it has a nice line and is a great length and can be dressed up or down.

Feel free to let me know your thoughts on the new Beth Ditto range or perhaps what you would of liked to seen more of.

For now, take care

Where to find hot curvy fashion online.

Being a curvy girl myself, I know how hard it is to find trendy fashion in lager sizes. I know I want to wear whats in fashion, clothing that is my age and I can wear with confidence. Here are some of my favourite places to buy plus size fashion online.

City Chic: Australia's leading high end plus size fashion retailer. I love, love, love this store and they sell online and post international. City Chic's clothing is trendy, young and fashionable. City Chic has stores right around Australia.

Dream Diva: The latest looks in larger sizes, fashion, Australia. Dream Diva sell online and post international. Unfortunatley they have only one store in Victoria, so you can't try on their clothes. However they are happy to exchange or refund. I have found Dream Diva's fashion to suit any age group.

Evans: A UK plus size fashion house that caters for all ages, shapes and sizes. Evans has stores across Europe, sell online and post international. If your 30+ you will love shopping here.

Asos: Asos is one of the UK's largest online fashion and beauty retailer. They have recently come out with a range called Asos Curve with sizes 20-26. If you want fashion that makes you look like you have just stepped off the fashion runway, then this is the place for you.

These are just a handful of my favourite places to shop. I will be listing more in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

City Chic - MS BOUQUET

City Chic's new range "Ms Bouquet" would have to be one of the more feminine styles they have had for a while. With a gorgeous array of pretty pinks, florals, frills and some racey red. If you love French Chic, then you will love this range.

I am loving the Rosey Spot Tier Dress. This dress Features a rose and spot print and four gorgeous tiers. I have just purchased this dress and it looks hot on, if I do say so myself. You could wear this dress as shown with a killer pair of PeepToe Heels or team it with a cute little shrug and a pair of PeepToe Flats.

If your after a cute little denim skirt that isn't to short then the Denim Zip Pretty Skirt is a must. I can't rave about this skirt enough. Personally I find a lot of the City Chic denim skirts way to short, but this denim skirt is the perfect length. It has a flattering ruffle detail below the wide waist band and a visable center zip down the front. I like wearing this skirt with the Basic Puff Elbow Sleeve Top. I tuck the top in to show of the cute ruffle waist band on the skirt, it looks fab!

Ladies if your looking for the perfect dress for the spring races then you can not go past the Bow Trim Alice Dress. A pale pink dress with wide straps and a sweetheart neckline and bow trim detail on waist, perfect for any special occassion. You can find all these gorgeous items by clicking the underlined words.

I hope you enjoyed my first entry in my blog "Curves and the City".
